He dreamed of working in the music industry one day. As a teen, Ernesto became an adept disc jockey. He hoped to parlay his experience with melding music on the dance floor into a lucrative producing career. He joined the Army after hish school and was serving his third tour in Iraq. He has been in the Army seven years. He is survived by his wife Illiana, a daughter and a son. He was preceded in death by two other brothers.
