Spc. Christian M. Adams, 26, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., died June 11 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained from a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 20th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas. He joined the military shortly after high school as a vehicle mechanic, served three years, left the military briefly, then re-enlisted in the infantry. He was serving his second deployment. He leaves his wife, Amanda, a daughter, Faith, and his mother, Donna among others.
